good to be back on board after a not so brief sabbatical into the world of work… the horror.

Re: Flash hating – “but flash chews through processor with shite adverts”…. that's not going away with HTML 5! On all bench's I've seen canvas/HTML5 uses roughly equivalant processor usage, some more than flash, some less.

Flash could do with some love – without it the modern web would be a in a more infant state – what do you think attracted all the money in the first place? It wasn't tables & frames…..

Nice to see you back in the land of the living. You make a good point on Flash and HTML5 – it's ad blocking more than flash blocking that will help going forward, although many sites that are ad supported may feel the pinch.

We'll also give out some Flash love, even if it is just for Chatroulette. Overall the web would be worse off if it didn't have Flash.
