Good picks this week - just trying out browser labs now, nice one.

Volume perhaps you already know this, but you should just apply some compression/normalisation to the mp3. There's a good freeware audio editing app called Audacity which can do these things....

re: Video advert in US magazine. I've seen some more details in one of my trade news daily emails.

It's a joint effort between Pepsi and CBS to promote this season's new shows and the fizzy, tooth-rot juice. It will only be sent to subscribers in Los Angeles and New York (not available in your local John Menzies or whatever they have in the U S of A).

Hi Brian. I'm away from home at the moment so can't test iTunes again. I downloaded the episode on Sunday night – I always check it downloads before I tweet out about a new ep being ready. Hopefully on Thursday I can give it a test when I'm back in Glasgow.

Volume is something I do need to work on and address. We're a good bit quieter than other podcast's so I need to boost the volume without affecting quality. Hopefully the next one will be a bit better. Maybe.

As for Chris, I think he addressed the moving away in Episode 11…but you wouldn't know that, would you.

Hmm not sure why you can't download ep.11. Fine on my computer, but I'll ask Chris and Ian to see if they have any issues …
I have noticed the sound issue and hopefully it will be rectified going forward.
p.s. we will tape the mic to Chris's cheek for the next episode

p.s. we are also aware of varying volume issues which is also being looked at.
